KrakOff the Map
Our vision
KrakOff the Map is the result of a local certified tourist guide and a local expat historian joining forces in late 2025 to offer high quality, accurately fact-checked and entertaining guided tours around Cracow. Furthermore, KrakOff the Map wants to contribute to a greater level of undertanding and appreciation of Cracow's famous and less famous heritage, by visitors from around the world.
We want to offer the type of tours that most tour agencies in Cracow offer, meaning walking tours around the Old Town, Kazimierz Jewish quarter and Podgórze. However, we want to go beyond that and we are specialising in off the beaten track themed tours, generally within the limits of Cracow municipality, but not necessarily in the most touristy areas of the city. We would like you to discover less touristy quarters of the city such as Stradom, Kleparz, Debniki, Grzegórzki, Dabie, Zablocie etc.
In other words, we would like you not only to learn more, to go deeper in your understanding of Cracow and its history and to experience more than most tourists in Cracow, but also to see more, to see extremely interesting, in some case even beautiful, places that most visitors in Cracow do not get to see.
Previous knowledge about the history of Cracow and Poland is not needed. Our KrakOff the Map Tours are open to anyone, not only to history geeks.
Once said so, nonetheless, it is important to highlight that we might also organise specific history-advanced tours for visitors with either a previous solid knowledge on the history of the region or a deep interest in military history.
