Zablocie trendy post-industrial area walking tour
We are going to tell you about the history of the quarter, including its recent transformation from industrial area to one of Cracow's trendiest areas nowadays. We are going to take you to a former Salt Warehouse from the 17th century that today hosts some of Cracow's most famous alternative artists. You will see the famous Schindler Factory (no entrance with this tour) and Schindler's Villa, a residence of Oskar Schindler, the industrialist who saved the life of around 1000 Jews in Cracow during World War II. Moreover, you will see a fancy bar terrace- park including old railway tracks, few still remaining industrial buildings and amazing murals on the walls of the neighbourhood, among other urban landscape attractions.
